Sounds like you've been playing some pretty shitty B games, then. I'll be recommending videogames from 2018 to 2024. Marvel's Spider-Man Red Dead Redemption 2 God of War Detroit: Become Human (If you liked Heavy Rain, you'll probably love D:BH.) Far Cry 5 (Doesn't hold up compared to 3 and 4, but still a good game with an interesting plot.) Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Resident Evil 2 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Mortal Kombat 11 (Personally not a fan of the game's plot, but I'm just a hardcore fan of old school Mortal Kombat, so take my opinion of 11 with a grain of salt.) Spider Man: Miles Morales Doom Eternal Hades Resident Evil Village Far Cry 6 Space Marine 2 Elden Ring Cyberpunk 2077 (Once the devs were given time to iron out it's kinks, it became pretty solid. Definitely over hated, and it's reputation as a bad game is entirely from it's release patch mixed with disappointment from the developers overpromising.) Ghost of Tsushima Dying Light 2 God of War Ragnarok (Even if they blackwashed Angrboda, but whatever. Still a good story, and still has great combat.) Sifu Star Wars Jedi Survivor Baldur's Gate 3 (It's not even my cup of tea as a game, and I don't like it as much as Dark Alliance 2, but it's still decent in spite of it's annoying playerbase.) Dead Island 2 Armored Core 6 Tekken 8 Feel free to try all, some, or none of these games. And hey, quit being so apprehensive about everything. It makes us old gen Berserk fans look like angsty kiddies.

I want there to be a single player mode, and an online mode. The two modes shouldn’t share the same character since you can easily cheese and level up a shared charater in single player. I feel like this gives players the opportunity to test two seperate playstyles at the same time. And since it’s Elder Scrolls they should just give us the ability to choose to be anything we want at the very start, vampire etc, or even which faction like vigilant of stendarr or something to really drive home the point of an RPG

I appreciate you are looking for simplicity, but after 15 years of skyrim, actually I'd like something mega to get stuck into. You're basically creating a game that will be played once, fully, and then never again. Where's the replay value if you can choose every perk?

People really pulled "2 decades of development" out of their assholes. You're gonna sit there and tell me Elder Scrolls 6 has been in development since before Elder Scrolls 5 was even pulled from behind the curtain? We all know it's not going to be perfect, because no game is. Even making a copypasta's worth of justifications for Morrowind's shitty dice roll combat won't make it a masterpiece. I think the reason Starfield sucks so much is because there's nothing to do in it, because it's set in what Bethesda thinks is out in space. At least, that's what Starfield's playerbase seems to think, so I'm running with it even if it is a lame justification for the giant nothing burger that the game is. Elder Scrolls 6 will probably actually be impressive, because the past two big name games released by Bethesda have been a completely new IP and a battle royale/MMO mashup that's designed to squeeze money out of gullible Fallout fanboys. I don't want to hear any badmouthing of ESO either, because it's not a bad game. I don't enjoy playing it unless I'm doing so with friends, but that's because I just don't like MMOs and initially went in with the impression that it was going to be Skyrim Online; Which is entirely my fault. I can't blame Bethesda for having warped expectations of what ESO should have been, if I did that'd make me an idiot. Anyways, I'm cautiously optimistic about TES VI. But, of course, we don't even know anything about it and people are setting impossible expectations and saying it'll suck based on a trailer that doesn't say much of anything.
