The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is an open-world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios, and co-published by Bethesda Softworks and 2K. It is the fourth installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following 2002's The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and was released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 in 2006, followed by PlayStation 3 in 2007. Taking place within the fictional province of Cyrodiil, the game's main story focuses on the player character's efforts to thwart a fanatical cult known as the Mythic Dawn that plans to open portal gates to a demonic realm known as Oblivion.

Yeah, I just don't see it you must have got to get your eyes checked, like have you even seen imagery on Renaissance art? Maybe you should take another look at others because all there is to see is the classic Gamebryo engine/Bethesda's Creation Engine greatness and monstrosity of a character creation mechanic, sliders and numbers, the quality is just too "new" even in 144p, it looks too good for that type of thing, must be why there's only less than a hundred Likes not enough people are tricked into seeing it or sheeple and yes man it. It looks more like that shitty restored version of the Virgin Mary, you KNOW the one I am talking about, if not just google it and feel bad you didn't know or had never seen it because it's a good one and you should have seen it earlier, it's "worth it" Still, it is OLD news not just literally "old" as the painting itself but the restoration failure is still fairly new in a sense but old because of how fast the internet movies. I.E. Mario's Chris Pratt VA, the "Sussy Baka" thing which is dying out, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 or even the original VA for Mario in media up to this current year of 2023 sometime after the Mario movie came out, retiring and living out the rest of his days in a quieter life.

I remember years ago I gave Oblivion a try. It was in the middle of the night in a pitch dark room. I was walking on a road and someone came up to me from behind to talk to me so the camera zoomed around to their face. The face was so uncanny that it legitimately scared me and made me feel so creeped out that I quit the game and have never gone back since lmao

I remember the moment an RPG intrigued me for the first time, and that was Oblivion around release. I saw a friend play it, and he was walking around the city, going into people's houses and he told me the NPC's have routines and that the owner of the house wasn't home at that time. At the time, the fact that NPC's had homes and routines in their AI life and i could explore that was just insane to me and i owe Oblivion for opening me up to this fantastic genre.

It's not just routines, they had lives. Same thing with morrowind too. The game was not dependent on you to exist, the world inside the game existed wether you were involved or not, they all go to work, go to friends homes, go do creepy stuff at night, etc.

It only cares about short term profit and making it as much as possible even if it means alienating many of its viewers. I really despise the short content that's jam packed with insane eye catching editing and the narrator speaking so fast you can barely keep up, I much prefer playthroughs like Kevin's. There are a lot of content creators that only care about catering to young children so they make their videos as chaotic as possible to keep their interest. It's a shame.

My favourite thing about this video is literally the fact that Kevin is using the Oblivion Character Overhaul mod, which makes their faces look so much nicer and less on the potato side but for some reason, he kept the default oblivion hairstyles. So you get Delos Fandas for example who looks nice but he has the famous Adoring Fan haircut.

I remember the first time I ever played oblivion; it was freshman year of high school, and I was playing until like 3AM. I didn’t know anything about the game other than it was elder scrolls and I grew up with morrowind. I played until the first oblivion gate and was fighting scamps with the kvatch guard you find in there. I accidentally landed the killing blow on the guard, and I remember the text, “Your killing has been observed by forces unknown.” First time I ever saw that, I got a shiver up my spine and was legitimately on edge for hours after that, waiting for some eldritch horror to appear and drag me to the abyss or something.

Honestly, if you want to stay alive during the daylight as a vampire, just use good old SPF 50. Also: If you just walk past someone and hold to their back and crouch, they won't be able to turn around to see you. I learned this early on so I could steal literally everything.

I want to see Kevin use the duplication glitch on the poison Apple and then see how many people he can kill with it. Like have him go into The Feed Bag in the Imperial City, steal all the food and replace it with poison apples and watch hilarity ensue.

I don't have many people I really watch on KZbin but Kevin has always been so good!! Also, the editing for this was really good! I love everything Kevin posts but this one really stood out especially for an hour long video. 10/10 keep it up Kevin!
