I have been trying to grow and or find it in the wild since i first came across it when my girl friends mother long ago gave me some dried and I fell in love with the smell its hard to find and for me als overy hard to grow i lve in a small place with low light hard to grow anythign I do thing the sweet grass is starting to sprout though :) every one love sage and burning sage smudging using sage, I like sweet grass better it feels like i am more connected to it then sage when burning, I bought some sweet grass a long while ago and well it didn't feel right the energy didnt feel right which is why I decided since then to grow my own I have a sneaking suspicion that I have been searching for wild sweet grass and have been looking for the trees through the forest lol I say this because I am not sure what it looks like when not dried and tied ;)

Sweetgrass can be used for many things; basket making and weaving to smudging. Some teachings say that the braid represents strength in community. One blade of grass on its own is easily broken, but when braided the strands work together to be stronger than they would be on their own. Smudging Sweetgrass when family is together is a wonderful way to give thanks to creator for bringing us together, and the smell is obviously sweet and pleasant. I’m not exactly sure what the scientific benefits are for Sweetgrass, but sage has microbial properties that do actually cleanse the air.

As if being a wonderful smelling plant wasn’t enough, it’s also telepathic. Good to know. I’ll try not to think about burning it, as I pick it
