I think this mod list is the best. All the other ones add way too many gameplay changing mods but with this one being mostly just visual you can go add whatever mods you want on top of it

MCO lists tend to be very bloated, and therefore unstable, but Eldergleam is what I might call perfect. I love that the list comes with a performance, and ultra performance profile, as well as CS support. Admittedly, I was checking the modpage 5+ times per day until it released.

How does the performace option look? I have an RTX 2060 laptop on which i wanna try (maybe 40fps?) But a 300gb download seems like a hassle so not sure it's worth it

@@hughjaenus2235 You could get away with it, but I would advise you use Community Shaders. If you are still struggling with performance, I'd purchase PureDark's FSR-3 upscaler, and use it with DLSS on quality.

I've been watching a lot of Skyrim modlists and finally decided on this one because imo, it is easily the best-looking list out there and from what I hear, he's also working on another list that includes gameplay elements, quests, armor and all that. Really lookibg forward to that one. That said, Nolvus V6 is just on another level entirely. That's probably my most anticipated modlist of all time

I'm about 80hrs in im 86/273 quests completed and this modpack has been amazing? the only issue im having is crashing on reload issues but other than that its been amazing!

Almost no similarities between the 2. Nolvus makes extensive gameplay changes. Eldergleam is Visuals + animations.

I have downloaded it and it's pretty amazing and cool 🔥🔥.. although I do have two questions.. One is how do you sprint while holding the weapon?.. Mine just rolls and it's a bit annoying.. My second question is what's the difference between ultra performance and performance and the normal one?.. I hope my questions aren't dumb cuz I'm new to Skyrim modding a bit..

I'm not sure, but i think you can not sprint when you're holding weapon. About performance variants - you can read it on Eldergleam nexus page: Normal Profile (Grass Cache & Max LODs), Performance (No Grass Cache w/ Max LODs), Ultra Performance (No Grass Cache & Medium LODs)

i can run eldergleam vs Ultra performance (+20 other mods that i always use) on my ROG ALLY @40+ fps, without any lag spikes. IMO one of the greatest modlist for portable PCs. while majority of wabbajack modlist kills your potato pc immidiately.

The only mod I had to add was a controller support mod for all the buttons. Then Ordinator because vanilla skill trees are nasty😂

I've used that mod before and it didn't look that jittery. I think there might have been some issues with the install of it.

So 2/3 things I notice instantly about combat - The new HD blood while beautiful in kill cam, looks absolutely trash in 3rd person combat. It's the same generic blood splat cloud that quickly evaporates into thing air lol. Secondly thing - 2 handed animations are awful it looks like your character is too weak to wield a weapon that size and should switch to a smaller one.
