When the house next to me was lost in foreclosure, I kept the grass cut and sidewalks shoveled for TWO YEARS. It would only make my property look bad otherwise. Also, squatters look for places like this to move into, then you have who-knows-what going on. Too bad people can't make even a small effort to do something.

Nice repair Josh. The design elements back in place, the pretty things, as Crape Myrtle and neat bushes in place. That was a hayfield to mow. Nice you were able to make it look good. If the bank has foreclosed on that property they should be responsible for keeping it mowed. It’s another really nice place that’s been neglected… if I had a neighbor move out I would mow that property just to keep mice and mosquitoes away not to mention it makes the whole neighborhood look crappy.
