Our Bella a chihuahua and beagle mix we had to put to sleep had a autoimmune disease that destroyed her white blood count we had the vet hospital give her 3 or 4 blood transfusion's and was in the hospital on and off for a month but nothing worked they did we still cry everytime we think of her she was only 2 yrs old still just a baby we miss her so much!

Given that he is probably a Jack Russell terrier that's a possibility. They think they are way bigger than they are and that they are invincible lol. Mine is 14 and loves to try to get into it with the neighborhood pitbull lol. The dog charges the fence, yelling insults at Freckles who lunges and pulls as he tries to get to him while hurling insults back lol. Key word is trying bc I don't let him even get close.

The vet is incorrect, it doesn’t matter which dog bites first! There are MANY other dominance behaviours that will have preceded the attack from Frankie. The dogs need to be separated and rehomed, period. Let this elderly dog, Tosca, live life without fear. Frankie is already showing dominant behaviour in the front yard, playing tug of war with the other dog and tail up. Eye balling. There’s so many subtle signs that vets and owners miss when dealing with pack mentality of dogs. Just because a dog isn’t biting first, does not mean it’s not the dominant dog. Also, why not desex your dog when it’s not being bred? These owners are completely irresponsible.
