I think it was a fair take on what people believe without taking one side to firmly. I side with the elves on this issue so I may be biased on it but it is a valid question that would be asked and oromis simply answered honestly as he would need to because of their speech being in the ancient language

I agree but I think it's more a characterization of the Elves themselves. I could compare it to how the Fate Series Magi viewed magic due to their knowledge of how it works at the point they are at the only things they would consider True Magic are acts of god, time travel, access to the multiverse, and the creation of a soul. So when we consider how old the elves are how much they understand the functions of the universe and how they can interact with it I imagine it's difficult to find something they could consider to be a god or at least a god worth worshiping.

However, if you ask a friend of mine as far as he is concerned given the fact that spirits exist (aka the beings that can create a shade and the beings sorcerers interact with to work their magic) and by that logic, greater spirits could exist an example he gave being a greater spirit of the dwarven mountain range itself. They would be entities that for all practical purposes are gods in all but name entities of great potential power that could assist or hinder natural processes much like a sufficiently powerful elf could. He went on to state that the Elven Queen is by some standards a goddess in all ways that would matter to most and concluded his statement with "and that's why I feel Arya was extremely rude not just to the priest but to the greater spirit they very well could be in contact with".

Way too many ads( very annoying) and this readers reading skills and voices and voice very irritating. If I cannot find another reader probably will not finish the series..not meaning to be critical but her reading is not clear and constant mistakes make for "rough," listening..

Im not getting a l9t of ads. I only got 1. Also the vo8ce acting is really good. The audio books were u have to pay for them make sapphire sound like the cookie monster.
