We will be walking along Eldridge Street in Lower Manhattan, New York City. This is one of the oldest streets in New York City with alot of history. We will walk from Division Street / Manhattan Bridge to East Houston Street. The neighborhood is mostly China Town. We will look at the old architecture, historic churches, tall brick tenement buildings, and the graffiti on the walls. This will be a nice and short walk with foot traffic and businesses opening up for the day. Come along and check out this New York City Street and as always, Thanks for taking the walk with me!

I really hope the city preserves these buildings and neighborhoods. They have historical value. Some renovations are needed, but they have character.

I had many great Chinese dinners down there with friends and family. Everything still looks the same and I hope those many tenements never get torn down. My grandparents lived in a tenement apartment like that in Little Italy when they first came to America and before they bought their house in Bklyn. Thanks for the tour.

Lots of film locations in Manhattan over the years including the opening shot here that was the set used for the series The Penguin, with the real Chinatown filling in for the fictional Chinatown of Gotham complete with the OOPS graffiti that got my attention.

It was a good show too. I was reading that Colin Farrell has 5 to 7 scenes in The Batman II, and would be ok with another season of Penguin. 🐧
