Awesome ballad !!! A rare but great crossover soul song by an obscure group from Philadelphia. They recorded a few songs on the Chess label in 1973. The song 'Have you had any heartaches lately' was coupled with 'Why are you so hard to forget'. There's not much info about the band. Members were Bobby Ott, Horace Ott and Billy Frazier. The songs were written and produced by Billy Frazier and arranged by Bobby Martin and Horace Ott. Billy Frazier himself recorded about a dozen singles on different labels from 1961 till 1980.

it happened that today I heard this song playing on the radio , It is a a beautiful song that takes me to a place full of sadness and emptiness, like I was left behind and forgotten.......it is a sad song and breaks my soul in pieces.....

Wow!! I'm impressed. This is a rare record. Do you happen to have a 45 entitled,"Mary?" It was recorded in the late 60's or early 70's. It's a soul love ballad.
