Why do they always try to mix up legal immigrants with illegal immigrants??? I am a legal immigrant (now citizen) and it took years of waiting in line and trying to get a green card. Why do the illegals get to skip the line while I still have family waiting??????????
@CrazyJabberwock24 күн бұрын
because they want to conflate border protection with bigotry, and low key, they want to use illegal immigrants to slant numbers in their favor. So it's in their favor to pretend the distinction doesn't exist.

Literally this I'm more than happy to see immigrants here, just go through the legal process. It takes longer but if you do that then you won't have to worry about being deported.
@108wee24 күн бұрын
From the prospective of a normal citizen there’s literally no way to identify the difference between legals and illegals. Can you really blame people for getting confused? If I see 2 Mexican guys, how am I supposed to tell who legal and whose not. They speak the same language and drink the same beer. If someone was feeling annoyed one day calling all migrants illegal isn’t exactly surprising. You can’t exactly go around asking ether.
@CrossBreedTacoHD24 күн бұрын
@@108wee I think it's more along the lines of "If you support deporting ILLEGAL immigrants, that means you are xenophobic and racist and don't want any immigrants in your country." Which is simply not true for 99% of people. We want people that respect the country and it's laws, people that were vetted and documented, and people that pay taxes and participate in the communities they live in like any other citizen. They are trying to frame it in a way that being against illegal immigrants is to be against all immigrants. You see this pretty often in the EU when looking at Poland. They try to frame Poland as this far right racist country that only wants white people, but the reality is, Poland is just a country that is protecting her borders, and will gladly accept anyone who gains entry legally. Also, to comment on your example, I don't think that it is reasonable at all. You can be annoyed with illegal immigrants, but that doesn't excuse you from judging someone by their appearance ("race") alone. Identity politics needs to be destroyed and discouraged in every facet of life, casual setting or not.

Plus there are many studies, not sure of the links to them, that show humans have had little to no impact on the climate in a damaging way. Both are false as glaciers break apart all the time and the hole in the ozone layer is natural
@Gia1911Logous12 күн бұрын
Yes, that happens But that is LITERALLY THE ENTIRE SOLUTION TO CLIMATE CHANGE You think that no scientist has ever thought of this? It's the first thing to think about But the CO2 levels in the environment are going up exponentially fast rather than going up gradually over the course of millions of years like it has in the past The amount of vegetation cannot possibly sustain to absorb all of the excess CO2 that we produce We have produced just WAY too much CO2 that it is now believed by many that we've passed the point of no return (heavily debated, I don't believe that though) For plants to adapt to the change in temperature they'd have to evolve to do so, which is a process that takes MILLIONS of years This is happening in the span of 3 centuries There is no adaptability to that And nevermind all the other effects global warming could cause The temperatures, love it or hate it, will keep going up, ice will melt, sea levels will rise Cities are in danger, London, New York Can you not think how a few more meters of water can destroy entire economies??????? Cmon this is easy shit we don't have to talk about the basics every time

The reality is very few people are actually trans and a lot of people like to play pretend trans for attention and to cope when they really just need therapy but are stuck in echo chambers that reinforce these toxic beliefs. At its root it isn't sexual, its just a cosmetic surgery not any different than a nose job it just changes what you look like and that isn't always sexual in itself but it absolutely can be used that way. Talking purely in extremes however is just gonna push people away and make them disagree like I'm doing right now, most people aren't aware but because our opinions are so close to who we are as a person we often feel personally attacked when people disagree with us, before people learned to handle that but now with echo chambers we haven't had to which has further polarized people against each other. I think there may be a difference (perhaps a generational one) on what tolerating something means. In my generation you could "tolerate" something while still mocking it, avoiding it, not hiring people that were linked with it and teaching your children that those people should be avoided. As long as they weren't affecting you or yours they didn't need to go away but they surely weren't to be celebrated. In more modern generations, tolerance tends to be vastly more expansive, to the extent you are not allowed to speak your opinion on the topic by rule of law and they are parading in the streets and teaching your kids. In which case, sorry you need to be removed from the equation because that is affecting me and mine.

(and don't worry the adhd boys are not never getting them, i explained to all of them that i need to keep them to different standards. and generally they understand. i think many adults missinterpret how grown up children can already be, just as the opposite happens. the good behaved ones will obviously get a bit more in total, which makes it more fair to them and easier to understand, but i don't leave my other pupils behind like i see it too often. but yeah it's super hard work.)

Pushing it onto children is where most people draw the line. If we as humanity have almost unanimously decided that children are not developed enough to: Drink alcohol, smoke, or partake in sexual activities. the actually answer is cross dresser. Trans is only once you start the medical process and children should not start that till at least they are 18. I would go as far as 21 but not sure people will agreed to wait that long. the main thing as growing up kids change their minds a lot and their influences very easily by the little fads. You got to wait till they are more sure of themselves but letting them cut off a body part that cant be reverse. not to mention having to take medication for the rest of the lives.

Republicans are going to lose in 2028. They're getting overconfident and they'll push to the right on social issues and have to learn that people didn't vote Republican for their stance on abortion, drugs, and gay people. They just don't want people transing the kids and destroying the economy. Trump is fairly moderate, perhaps even left wing on social issues. When you are a leader, you have to look out for people below you. Its an expectation that she would.
