The answer is one day voting, voter id, with very limited mail in ballots. Paper ballots, no machines, period. People will learn to count by hand.

How are you “limiting” mail-in ballots? All the ballots are made of paper. I’ve lived here for over 30 years and mail-in ballots have been allowed since 1991. It’s a time tested practice here and btw, people make mistakes when hand counting as well. Just because someone complains that the election was stolen, doesn’t mean it was.

@@DavidLittle-lk8bs No, that’s not how it works. Anyone can vote by mail-in ballot, one does not have to be house-bound, that’s the positive in those ballots. The vast majority of citizens vote this way and have for decades. And it’s Absentee ballots where someone, anyone, is out of the state or country at the time of an election, not just service members. Don’t take the majority’s rights away because of one sore loser. And I would refer you to the one commenter who mentions “not going back to horse and buggy days.” Machines have been used forever. We’re a modern society. Get over it.

@@lantrick What was the purpose of the keys? To provide access to the voting machines. They serve no other function. The idea that he was "cleaning up" is absurd as he didn't hand the keys over to someone who would be authorized to have them. Combine that with the fact that the keys were left out where a temp worker would even have access to them to begin with shows that these officials are delusional when it comes to their "security" measures. I doubt he could pull off any election shenanigans himself, the fact that he took the keys with cameras on him proves he's no criminal mastermind. However, the thought of him trying to sell them is hardly a stretch. Look at it this way, if someone stole the garage door opener out of your car, would you assume they were going to come in when you weren't home to vacuum and do your laundry for you?
