All said and done EC has taken out the fun and amusement part of a GE by holding it in a most unfriendly time. A non partisan nonagenarian I have enjoyed walking upto the booth and then the whole process in each election. This time at subSaharan temperature it is like walking from one end of the desert to another. Thanks to EC though for arranging voting from home for this 93 year old. Thought I should also add stay away from the arm chair sephologists who have no clue of ground realities or those who work on the ground as influencers.

It is shock proof in so far as the outcome is concerned. Even when a Psephologist has performed poorly Psephology per se is not discarded/ criticised. Sometime predictions turn out right which is not fault by Psephologist but it is just the safety which is built into the body of knowledge (Statistics) that is the culprit. It is called Law of Averages. One can also call it Karma as per Astrology. Even when it miserably fails it's validity doesn't vanish. Just like why a sinner is enjoying the best that life can offer while innocent and virtuous are suffering? Ultimately Karma alone wins. Satyameva Jayate. ✌️
