We stayed here a few years ago and loved it. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your visit. 5 minute walk along the beach takes you into the village/town where there were absolutely umpteen beautiful restaurants and bars serving local dishes... I'm amazed you weren't told about them at reception. You definitely missed out.

We stayed at the Electra Palace the following month and were very impressed. Having experienced several all inclusive holidays I would say it is near the top of the list with the two negatives being that it is in the middle of nowhere and secondly the pebble beach. There is however plenty on offer within the complex, the pool area is fantastic, and I found the standard of food in the buffet restaurant pretty good. It offered a good selection, especially the desserts. Yes it's not the Ritz but for an all day all inclusive restaurant it's pretty good.

Returned from marjora 2 weeks ago with chuffing covid, so not so relaxing for me and my husband. Spent 4 days in bed on returning home, only now feeling better. So glad you had a great time xx

By the way, 8 minutes walk you are in the village, with nice coffees and restaurant,.. It's a brilliant place for windsurfing. That's why the stony beach is awesome, because you're not sandblasted. Windy season june, july, August.

Thanks for vlog. I think jet 2 categorise this as a 4 star plus hotel and are cheaper than TUI. Ive always found TUI more expensive & theyre obviously chancing it categorising it at 5 stars. presumably

Thanks for the very honest review, I am not really an all inclusive or even a hotel fan myself as prefer to stay in villas or apartments and eat out in various places We love walking round the local villages in the evening too

Indeed. Ideally my type of holiday too though we’d booked this as we’d told ourselves we needed a total break unlike our Menorca holiday in June where we investigated everything everyday. It made the criteria for a relax but yes, don’t think I’d do it again. Thank you for watching ♥️

I'm not a fan of All Inclusive in large resorts especially because it feels like going back to the unruly school dinner hall and quite dysfunctional/hit and miss with cheap food sources. I’m so happy you had such a relaxing holiday. 🤗 That definitely is my type of vacation sleep, eat, lay by the pool / beach, enjoy beautiful sunsets and then do it all over again the next day.☀️🌊🍹✋ The ✈️ footage made me chuckle a little, because I’m sure that’s not something they highlighted in the brochure 😂 It reminded me of this beach in St. Maarten called Maho Beach where the planes literally fly right over you while you are lying on the beach. It’s an absolutely incredible once in a lifetime experience and photo op, however much like your video highlights the novelty wears off pretty quickly there as well.✈️🌊🏝️ Welcome back and remember to be kind to yourself. ✨ It can definitely be challenging at times transitioning from paradise to the real world once again.🫶

No they didn’t - we did tell reception on departure that we had but as the individual restaurants didn’t bill our room, the reception told us there was nothing to pay x

Thank you. I’m not too sure to be honest. I think it was the fact you get 2 meals for free in the “nice” restaurants and a better room. We certainly seemed to have a nicer room than some people but the food let it down x

Who did you fly with? Were going here with jet2 and don't fly home until 23.55 but I've heard that once you check out you can't use the all inclusive anymore, it's a long day without.

Yes we flew with jet 2 also. You can sometimes pay extra to keep your room longer but we couldn’t because the hotel was full. We were offered a shower room for 40 minutes at a time of our choice on check out day and were allowed to use all the facilities on our last day. There is also a little shop a pub/small restaurant opposite where you can go also. We didn’t encounter any problems on check out day. Hope this helps and have a lovely time xx

Have fun! Wonderful! The evening entertainment was of a very good standard and we also went in September. I’m not a drinker but my partner didn’t have any problems with drink availability. Rhodes town is great for a day out and there’s lots of lovely places to go to either by hiring a vehicle or local buses but yes the hotel itself is a little stranded . I hope you have a wonderful holiday xx

Ooh forgot to mention that. Well, actually we didn’t but it was because they made a mistake one night with us. You have to book in advance for both the Italian and the Greek restaurants but they got them the wrong way round one evening so they gave us the 2 other nights free. However, yes apparently if you want to go to these on more than one occasion you do have to pay. Disappointed to find this out as the buffet was like school dinners and not 5* at all. Shame as the rest of the hotel was lovely. Thank you for watching ♥️

It’s a lovely place. No we couldn’t hear the planes at night. We had a pool view room. They were very frequent throughout the day but it wasn’t a problem . I was more distracted by the pool entertainment in the day - the music could be quite loud but we would switch from pool to beach when we wanted peace and quiet. The choice of both was a good mix of

Hi. Yes we went the middle week of September 2023. Rhodes is extremely hot and even until October remains around 30 to 35 degrees x

They did state smart dress for the evening when we booked but plenty of people were dining in shorts-I don’t think it’s overly strict. Lovely place but mixed feelings regarding the food and as long as you are happy to stay in one place ( unless you hire a car ) it’s great. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel though no other bars or shops for a few miles x

Ooh you will like it very much. We didn’t pay the extra in the end as there was a mix up - I’ll explain in this Sundays vlog! But yes, the rules are you get 1 free evening meal in the Italian and 1 in the Greek per week. You can use the Italian restaurant at lunch time as part of the all inclusive package. I’ve noticed since we booked, the rating has gone down to 4* plus x

Yes the hotel organised the bus to and from and you are dropped in a central car park in the town and given a time to return there to be picked up x
