Consider raising your seat. I built My Ebike No chain I can sit on My seat with both feet flat on the street. Now My pedal bike My seat is correct height. I've just Subscribed to Your channel. Keep up the good work. Much Respect R. Mack

You also need a larger frame and so would I at 6'3" When your lower foot is at the bottom of the crank rotation leg should be almost straight so you don't look like a"squid" while riding

Exactly. I don’t think they make a bigger frame. I think your saddle is too low. Same goes for the height of the handlebars. Great review though with various cool video angles.

I don't understand the audience for bikes in this price range. If you're willing to spend $1,700 to over $2,000 for an electric bike you're obviously well off enough to own a vehicle. Surely its more economical to use that 2 grand as a down payment for an electric or hybrid car right? These types of bikes should be under a grand imo

They're fun and you do see performance differences at the different price ranges. I wouldn't compare these to cars, but maybe gasoline scooters that cost the same, but aren't as flexible as this as you can ride these on roads, bike paths and trails. You can go on Amazon and find e-bikes for a few hundred dollars and that's great, but just like we have smartphones and GPUs in the $2000 price range, they're not going to be for everyone, but there is an audience.

I’m a recent ebike purchaser (same Model E as reviewed here), it’s my first ebike after years of “regular” bike riding. I already own a car and I wasn’t buying a bike to replace a car. I ride on weekends with friends on relaxed trails and streets as well as daily (or as close as I can make it) rides through my neighborhood. My knees don’t allow me to make 50-80 miles of weekly rides like,they used to. So this allows,me to enjoy the outdoors and get exercise without spending money and resources on my car. If looking to replace a car, there are options and other bikes from EBC and other manufacturers that make better sense. For me, this was the best value per dollar on a purchase that my wife was wary of (understandably so). When comparing similar or cheaper bikes, even from well reviewed places, this Model E had all the features I wanted at the price that was doable. I was very close to buying the Nakto Santa Monica (until I joined their FB group and no one was pleased long term with them), as well as the Rad Mission and Ride1Up offerings.
