Best styling on an E-Bike yet in my opinion! Dope review once again man, the upside down shifter is a bit awkward but the strong headlight, display, and performance make it a bit easier to forgive lol. Nice seat too, LED backlight is in a perfect position/design integrated on the seat. 32 mph top speed!

This looks almost polished like a quality product, but little things like the shifter being upside down (they have left sided ones) or the speedometer being off by 3 mph, seem silly to not just fix before launch. This is arguably one of the best ebike/moped style looking bikes on the market and for performance to cost, EXTREMELY competitive in that regard. I just wish they would iron out little things like that.
@jessicaal415 Жыл бұрын
Shifter being upside down, a non issue. It’s been fixed as of last month. They are making updates as they hear from the community. Did I say I am getting one? Lol. Hubby had already ordered and after much research, I went ahead and ordered one too. The only other ebike I like is the Lyric Graffiti BUT as our first ebikes, I don’t want to pay to $3099. We got these at $1999 each.

Talking about waterproof-ness at 13:27 ish mark...I'll give a pro tip I've used for years on my home built ebikes that's always worked extremely well. Take petroleum jelly and rub that around all areas you don't want wet. Cable connections, around the battery gasket, around your controller box, gasket of the motor, even around areas of your throttle and display you'd not want water to get into or sit on. Some even go further and buy certain stuff made for it but the petroleum jelly makes it so that water just rolls off any surfaces you apply it to. I just re apply every half dozen rides or if I think it might rain out when riding. I've ridden in a good dozen heavy heavy downpours and had zero issues. The only diff is I use hub motors but I imagine you can use it on a Bafang mid drive motor/controller combo just as easy. You don't need to put tons on either, just enough so it's coating a whole area you don't want water to seep into. Test it out yourself first though to see how well it works. It's a very cheap fix for making sure your bike doesn't short out or get rusty internal parts.

Great review. Which E-Bike (with cost consideration) would you recommend for the St. Louis area for work commute?
@jdgoesham53812 жыл бұрын
If you have a mountain bike frame you can build one. For cost consideration in mind.... you can get a 750-w1000w rear hub motor kit that comes with the motor/wheel/tire(though I HIGHLY suggest upgrading to an ebike tire or you will pop your tires with such a heavy bike like most ebikes are), display, pedal assist, controller and throttle for 200 bucks. And you'll need a lithium ion battery that fits how long/far you're going to be going. Which I'd suggest at least 15ah for something like a 750w-1000w hub motor. Not going hard my first ebike I built which was a 1000w rear hub with 15ah(amp hours)battery got over 30 miles a charge going 20-25 average. And btw it can go 42 on flats. So it's plenty fast. Which I don't suggest. It's scary on a mtn bike. Plus cops will take nots. But it's got serious torque for something so cheap. I paid 400 for the battery and that was 5-6yrs ago. You can find or build much cheaper batteries now if you hunt around. They've been going down a lot. You also could go lead acid battery route but tbh I don't know much about using them for ebikes. I've seen it done, they're massively cheaper, but I'd research on that before thinking about using marine batteries or something like that on an ebike. Hope you can figure something out. I

Nice looking bike with great performance. That said, I'll stick with my Ocelet Pro which is a good bike as well. I'm waiting for the next 3-4 years when belt drive becomes the standard and 40 MPH controllers are a mainstay. It just seems like finding the perfect ebike right now is like chasing the wind. Tomorrow, there is a better bike out there for the money.

Nice looking e-bike to be sure... For next years model along with the connected extra battery upgrade I'd love to see an upgrade of at least a 1000 Watt rear hub motor. The space for rear trunk bags is more limited because of the shorter rack and the overhang of the seat. It will mostly depend on the height of your bag. Because this is a pre-production unit, I haven't had any experience with their customer service.

If you just use the throttle yes, but depending on your height and injury, an e-bike that has an adjustable seat might be better for you. If you're hurting using a regular bike going up hills and things, this bike and any other 750W motor bike will be easier on the joints than a regular bike.

$200 for the extra battery is a good price and you can never have enough range. As far as being 6'3, it'll be a little more uncomfortable than on a bike with an adjustable seat because your knees will be bending more while pedaling, but unless you have a medical issue or something, I don't it will be extremely uncomfortable.

So thank you for the ride along and the review, it looks like a promising product, and I hope they get this into production and out to folks soon. I Like these I call them E-mopeds that you can pedal instead of an e-bike mostly because it uses throttle and has max speed of 28mph using throttle. The Super 73 has been around the longest I think but it's nice to see more companies coming into the game and fleshing out the market to give options hopefully will just the price down soon. The problem with bikes like this in America is what are they trying to be? At this point ditch the pedals, crank up the power and just make an electric motorbike. As a pushbike? It's pointless, if you built a mountain style mid drive ebike with the same batteries you'd need a smaller motor for the same performance and you'd get considerably more range due to the light weight and pedal assist motor. And as it would be considerably lighter it would be more practical throwing in the back of the car or lifting it over a gate etc. It's like Americans just don't understand what a bicycle is for.
