Super fun video! Love the dance down the stairs and the slide into the ballroom when the whole band starts to rock. And always need that group dance thrown in as well. Hilarious 😆 and that video was shot at a beautiful location! I want to go to there! Good video choice, Dane! Nice job!

Previous singer Sebastian 'Sushi' Biesler left early in 2020 to found a new project called Ghostkid. Current clean singer Nico' Sallach's previous band, To The Rats And Wolves had disbanded after a farewell tour by the end of 2019/ beginning of 2020. Stanislaw 'Stanni' Czywil, the bassist of TTRAW, joined Ghostkid. Michael 'Micha' Malitzki left in 2012 out of private reasons. In March of 2022 he filled in for a performance on a German TV show (they played Pump It!) as David was on a humanitary mission at the Polish-Ukranian border. Guitarist Daniel Haniß does the majority of their programming and production. Guitarist Pascal Schillo and his brother Oliver run a videography company (Schillo Bros), they produce the vast majority of EC's music videos. They do have some videos in which the band doesn't appear (or just in cameos), most prominent: MC Thunder (2017, Sushi era) starring KZbinr/ streamer HandOfBlood, MC Thunder II - Dancing Like A Ninja (2020) HandOfBlood returns as the title character, Arrow Of Love (2022) starring KZbinr / streamer Kalle Koschinsky who also had a small part in MC Thunder II. Both HandOfBlood and Kalle appeared in Hypa Hypa.

You just popped up on my recommended list on KZbin. I discovered Electric Callboy recently and so lots of reaction videos in English, French, Italian, Spanish and German have popped up and are fascinating to watch. You are definitely a giggler and have a big catalogue to check out. Nico, the shorter singer, who does the clean vocals joined in 2020. Their first video after he joined, to introduce him as well, was Hypa Hypa. It took off big time. Being feel good and positive in the Electric Callboy style and hilarious. They also because of lockdown and no concerts SEVEN covers of Hypa Hypa with other bands and singers. They have a pop version, folk metal version, German rap version, country version, a comedy deathcore version, a techno DJ version, and one with Axel One which I don't know how to categorise.

I think you're so right when you said that when you listen to their music after having seen the video, you instantly see it and it makes you smile. I think they said that they include the video while writing the song because it is important for them and it shows! If you haven't already and if you like it heavy, you might want to listen to some more serious stuff like Mindreader. And an another must see imo is Castrop x Spandau, written in on day, video shot the day after with Kalle (German youtuber, former dance teacher, who you will probably recognize in other videos 😁)
