I was up to 2015 a gas engineer/plumber. I worked on a 400 year old cottage in Gloucestershire that had a reputation for being haunted. I was on site on my own for about 6 weeks,never saw or heard a sausage. This guy reminds me of me, all laughing and joking on site but miserable, sad and lonely when you get home. Mind you, I was coming home to an empty house 😂😂😂

I have fitted 6 electric combi boilers this year 2 of them still had the old style meters fitted when on high rate you could cut diamonds with the wheel rotating. Not my choice but only thing that could be fitted ad give the customers heat and water quickly as no gas in property

Electric boiler 😳😳😱🙈. Seriously. That has got to be the most expensive way to heat anything.
@dregenius8 ай бұрын
I constantly have LandLeeches asking about tankless, thinking they're "less maintenance and cheaper to buy"... when asked if they have natural gas to the property (I know they don't, LandLerds hate anything that costs money to put in but saves money in the long run - because it's not their money their poor choices are costing or saving...) they say "I was just going to do electric, it's not my electric bill anyway!" but then when I ask what kind of electric service the property has and they say 60 or 100 amp.. because they're a rent-seeking wealth-siphoning property-scalper that tries to create wealth from thin air, they absolutely will not do any serious infrasteucture upgrades - only slop on paint and put new fixtures to jack up rent and make hundreds of orders of magnitude what the "investment" cost in infinitely recurring rent... I have to let them know that a tankless electric needs *120 amps* all on its own.... which means you'd need 400 amp service in the property and most of them start wetting themselves at the thought of having to make improvements or upgrades to one of their slums.

@@dregenius take it you have never rented a property out. Nobody ever mentions the scumbags that rent your well maintained and decorated property and eventually leaves in a few years and returns your lovely house trashed. Then you ask why they do things on the cheap 🤷🏻♂️. Happened to my daughter's house twice now so she has given up renting out as are many in the UK. This alone is pushing up rents. There are equal numbers of scumbag tenants ti greedy landlords.

Have you ever thought of doing a honest down to earth segment on the effects of what gas fitting/plumbing does to your body mate???? I have just turned 66 but I finished in 2015 because my back went. In spectacular fashion. If I had your platform, I would use it to deter young men from entering the plumbing/gas fitting industry [I was a house basher] and I am knackered. Had someone like yourself told me what the job does to you, I would have swerved it like the plague. On saying that, I do love your clips 👍👍👍👍

Can anyone help with advice or even another chance? Thanks in advance.

It makes more sense , gas is going to raise the prices up very quickly ,comparison to electricity, and once people complain about the rates …. They will regret , they didn’t install the electric boiler in the first place, having a lot of solar panels will cut your cost down and it balances it out… you don’t have a clue what other plans this Lanlord has … and once everyone wants electric boiler , the installation for electric boilers will go up as we’ll..
