Just epic. Great mod, properly edited without overly hyping it and enough of an explanation of whats going on. Brilliant.

Its important to fuse each cell to the bus on either + or - side so that if a individual cell fails (shorts) the fuse burns thru as the overall packs current flows thru the cell that is shorting - this avoids a full pack short which might result in a fire. The fuse need not be sophisticated - maybe 27awg wire (20amp burn) or something like that - just so the full current of the pack (140a) will melt it but yet the full current from an individual cell (20a) will not melt it. Love your enthusiam/videos!

Your battery has the capability to comfortably run a 5 KW motor if I'm not wrong. wouldn't it be better to get lower current higher capacity cells for this application? like the samsung 30Q or even samsung 35E cells which would give you respectively 1.15 or 1.3 times the capacity. Unless you will be using it for a later more power hungry project ofcourse ;)

Bugger was really hoping it would just fit straight on Jesus aye use had to do a fair bit I've got a electric green machine I'm planning to get a 1800/2000w motor kit I was really hoping it would just bolt straight on as the original motor has the 4 bolt two mounts one on top and bottom and that's how they are on ebay god Im not the best with power tools but I'm good at putting things together hope I can do it hehe my main issue was figuring out how to put the 48 volt or 52 volt battery im really hoping I don't have to worry about bloody making new mounts for the motor as well anyways man this is a cool build well done.
