It does have a parachute, but that's not great. The expected price of the BlackFly is cheaper than this and is a much better vehicle. The BlackFly has twice as many systems as it needs to fly, for redundancy, AND a parachute.

This is till just a concept but they claim 2 hours running time which would be insane. BlackFly has already flown.

I'm a commercial fixed wing and helicopter pilot. Both of these can make a safe landing after all power fails completely. I can't see how this one in the video can.

Ballistic parachutes? At least you wouldn't have to find an long enough open area to land, like in a plane.

Automated brakes when it detects that the vehicle is freefalling. There are lots of ways these days to safeguard against crashes with motion & speed detect tech. Also AI helps.
