It is a strange question to rate the “weight” of this unit because it is basically a giant torque electric motor on the end of a handle- so yes, it is top heavy. I’ve had the chance to use it a couple times to remove tires and wheels and it works great kzbin.infoUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K There are three torque settings so that you don’t overdo it and strip a lug. Very happy with it, especially with the price of buying it as a bare tool.

Thank you for this video man, this is perfect comparison. funny how the other big names aren't really coming with corded technology. shows the DIY enthusiast that we can get high quality torque from a budget size and use. looks like it'll break the rust from many bolts. perfect video. fuckin perfect test.

These things have been sold corded for many years. Probably innovation has halted and shifted to the cordless. But the corded ones can still be found.

Always battery for me. Nice quick and easy, use it in the workshop, throw it in the back of the truck and use it out on the road to do a wheel change, no problems trying to find power. Safer as well, no power cables to trip over.

For the corded machine is missing the spindle lock feature which is present for all cordless Parkside machines.
@benjaminbuljevic7977
@benjaminbuljevic7977 10 ай бұрын
It's not technically possible with the chosen motor design. The corded machine uses what is known as an universal motor, which doesn't have any magnets at all. This kind of machine requires low turning resistance and high rpm to achieve good power

Thanks for the vid bud, I've owned one of these for a while but truthfully the amount of instant power concerned me. I also have a milwaukee m18 stubby which is my go to choice but I think I may well give the 'monster' a go on some of the nastier looking fasteners. Once again, thanks.

Convince? but how often does a flat tyre happen? Consumerism always fools the simple-minded pleb who assumes battery-powered devices are new technology, so it must be better than older hardwired technology. Honestly, if you had to choose between sticking your tongue across the + & - of a 9v battery or across or blue and brown wire coming from a plug socket, which would hammer the hardest Because there's a reason they're known as knocker guns, it's nothing to do with sounding cool 😎
