Has the drop-in kit been tested for fitment in a first generation Discovery or classic Range Rover? They used the same engines and the Discovery/RRC have bigger engine bays than a Defender. The 200tdi in my Discovery 1 is tired and an EV conversion is tempting, even the 120kW motor provides a performance increase over the standard diesel.

There is another kit aimed at more general use (road users etc - it's still great for off-roading) which is the Road Warrior kit and will ship early next year. We will be releasing information about that kit soon.

I signed up originally but have never got any real detail including a list of components, a step guide on how to install etc. without this this offer is worthless because only an idiot would do so. I have no doubt that there are plenty of people who would like to do this so do the detail!1
