🌺🌺🌺 You setup is efficient, I would suggest gluing or affix 2X4 on the bed for mower stability and maybe breaking down the trimmer and edger and affix them to the wall or find a ceiling mount for them 🌺🌺🌺

I'm looking at mowing yards with my EGO equipment here in south Texas. So awesome finding a channel that's for electric lawncare!

Stand the mowers up some how. You get allot of floor space. Zip tie plug in to the driver wall some how. I started lawn care business with ego. Good stuff. I might restart.

I bought 2 battery boxes that are for jumping vehicles and they have power outlets, I charge on the go with those and it works perfectly

Nice! Maybe you could make some kind of simple rack out of 2x4s that might allow you to stack your mowers and secure your tools.

Great video. I was thinking about getting the transit connect as well. Right now I'm using a minivan. I'm all ego as well. Have you considered a solar set up on your van? You can put a few panels on the roof and then run it to a battery that then goes to the chargers. Of course there are some more in-between parts that are very important but just to give you a quick example I made it a little simpler.

I bought a lot of my ego batteries for half price from home depot so I have enough to keep me going for the day but long term a solar solution would work out well.

You gonna get the ego z6 ride mower. I'm 300 lbs. It handles me no problem. Same Batteries You already have. I want to get a electric van and have full complete electric set up

When you do decide to suspend the string trimmers to the ceiling I would put them above the rack you have. I just subscribed to your channel, it is great to see you are using all electric. For future reference, I think Makita is a superior product.
@joshuabush25692 жыл бұрын
How so? Makita battery technology is really far behind.
@sebastian563092 жыл бұрын
@@joshuabush2569 why? Are you referring to their ability to go in reverse to remove blockages?
@joshuabush25692 жыл бұрын
@@sebastian56309 no, that's a cool feature of Makita though. I'm on about the 56v ARC lithium battery technology... Superior power and performance to Makita batteries and no issues with overheating etc

not sure how good you are with working with electrical wiring on the car but ever consider adding a power inverter to charge the batteries? this way you can charge up even when not near a outlet. i would go with about a 2000w+ and a deep cell marine battery connected to a circuit that is energized only when the ignition is on so it doesnt kill your battery. and you can still use a outlet when available.
@crimmy02044 жыл бұрын
Yes something like this will be nice, the only problem is the ego charger stink really bad when they are charging so I'm pretty sure this would kill me some how.. but hopefully something can be worked out eventually, my big ego nexus charger is smell free but huge and slow.
@kylewinder22214 жыл бұрын
@@crimmy0204 never noticed mine smelling but at the same time i only have 1 for my weed wacker in the garage. do you actually drain all of those batteries in a day of work?

I have a hand full of clients that don 't mind if I charge while I cut, but I have enough batteries now where I don't really have to... its super cheap 6-12 cents a kilowatt hour so the most it could end up costing is like 20 cents for my 2 hour cuts.

@crimmy02043 жыл бұрын
Depends on the size but 1-2 7.5's will do a 0.3 acre lawn probably even on a wet day. if its not wet you a 7.5 could do up to half an acre roughly.
