this is excellent. I want to get a jeep and install larger tires and upgrade suspension. Just to be able to order the power window option you have to order the Sport S which costs more, and comes with upgraded tires and rims that you don't need. then you have to pay 1500 on top of that to have the power windows....

Jeeps have a quick connect harness in the kick panels that can be un-clipped to remove the doors that have power windows from factory...

Can you explain how to tap into the ignition under the column?

If you're doing it right, you cut the wire, strip off about 1/2" on each side, slip on some heat shrink tubing, solder the new leads in, slide the tubing over the connections and heat it. Ignition is not something you want to half-ass with if you want your car to start.

I like how Jeep spends the money on a touchscreen factory radio and steering wheel controls but skips out on power windows. No wonder why they are going out of business.
