It should be known by ELO fans since 1972 that ELO started out as both being led by Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood as a progressive offshoot of The Move, but Roy quit after the first album to go solo, so it's been Jeff's baby since then. As of 2024, Jeff is announcing his retirement from touring as ELO prepares it's 2024-25 tour as it's last tour. Good luck, and Godspeed, Jeff.

My body is the same size, dimensions, volume, mass, weight, waist/inseam, neck/arm length….everything except my shoe size has remained the same as when I was 17 years old, and my shoe size went from 12 to 13 to now .,..it’s 14. I’ve been listening to ELO the entire time. I’ve never seemed to be interested in the band leader or its exceptional members ….. I just know that I like the music, the sound, the lyrics, and sometime the innovative instrumental/the electronica calisthenics, State Of The Art usage of audio sampling tricks candy sauce applied to the latest new album recording debuts (back in the day and at that previous era of good current times, as we waited….champing at the bit drooling for the next installment album to magically appear at out favorite music records and tapes store outlet) ….the premier warehouse retail sales record music outlet at that time would be the one and only TOWER RECORDS, on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California. @@darrenshepherd2843 you got that right. He was pretty sparse with musical compliments for contemporary or post 1960s bands. For him to praise a band/artist was huge. I know he also loved Elton, Bowie, and get this…Little River Band!

It's amazing that I was born in the late 60s. And you guys were doing your thing toward the end of the 70s. But I never heard this song before michael jaco Mentioned it on X. Having said that, one of my favorite songs of my childhood was all over the world

The year is 2022 of August 26th. My baby girl is 11 years old and she loves this band. I’m 36 by the way.

I did see Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra in New York 2016 Toronto in 2018 and 2019. They were voted the best live classic Rock Band in the world 🌎 and after seeing about more than 200 concerts in my life I totally agree. Let’s hope they tour one more time in 2022-2023. I will go wherever they play.🙏❤️👍
