I don't think I've ever heard this before. I had a couple of ELO's early albums.....in the late 1970s? In the late 1980s....or early 90s, I was in Reno for a weekend slot tournament. As I pulled into the casino's parking garage....I saw a huge sign on the wall, advertising an appearance THAT night, by ELO part 2 ( or ELO 2 ). Once I was checked-in to my room, I stopped off at the box office, and the tickets were only $27....INCLUDING a couple of drinks. I figured it was just some 'tribute band', but the price was decent, and I always loved their music. It turned out that it WAS ELO....( minus only Jeff Lynn ). At that time, I don't think I was aware of ANY of the names of those guys in the group....including Lynn. I've seen a LOT of great concerts in my 60+ years, and I think THAT one I would have to place somewhere in my top 15. I don't think the showroom held more than maybe 1500 people. They sounded fantastic though. I wish I could go back & sit thru that same performance again.
