The second generation Nissan Leaf comes in two different versions, the standard version I drove [40 kWh (150 hp) / range 240km] and the e+ I didn't [62 kWh (218 hp) / range 385km]. The standard version is powerfull enough, so the only reason you would go for the e+ version is for it bigger range that comes unfortunately for +58kPLN/$15k/€13k (which is a bit expensive considering the fact you could drive around 193.000 km for that money in today's average fuel car).

WHAT ABOUT THE CAR ?
👍 Accelerates fast, comfy, spacious, 180 degree view, good acoustics (interior, wind noise & engine sound = casi inexistente)..
👎 Top speed 144km/h (89.5mph) is a bit useless especially when the dashboard shows 180km/h (112mph). With this thinking they could also put 300kmh (188mph) on it. It's like having a flamboyant exhaust that doesn't make any sound. Low range as standard (240km/149mi). The info-system screen in the center console looks rubbish. It would look good in 98, but in 2018, you expect wayyyyy more!! But then, it's a Nissan. Like Toyotas, they are built for reliability over power & beauty (the GTR and Landcruisers are an exception).
