Keep on keeping on Stu. 🙂 I have found that when extending looms, it's best to 'stagger' the joints, so all the wire connections are not side by side. That way you don't get such a big bulge in the loom at that point. Spreading it out is not simply a visual improvement, but can pay dividends when threading through grommets and holes etc. Might I suggest keeping those tyres on the wheels while you continue with the project. In the meantime, find a set of Panamera original 18" wheels and add new tyres. Panamera owners want 20" and larger so the original 18s can be had for reasonable money and look great on a 928. The offset isn't quite as original, but it's acceptable. Did I say they look great. 🙂

Looking good Stu, it’s really starting to come together. Re the AI, we are only at the beginning and the real danger is the datasets that are used to train. The internet is often used and is so full of incorrect or biased info that it can negatively affect progress Where things are going though is wild, and life will change over the next decade. Things that were impossible just a few years ago are now pretty ordinary. It still does my head in at times that I carry around 1TB of storage with a high quality camera with multiple lenses that can also shoot 8k video, has more processing power than supercomputers from not that long ago and more bandwidth than we used to use for entire datacentres.

Great video Stu, good progress on the Battery frame 30yo tyres beats my 22yo when I got my 928, rear blew out and the sidewalls didn't collapse, rubber was so hard AI, I got it to doodle a gull wing 928 which wasn't too bad, but AI must be of the Female persuasion as it doesn't listen to my instructions and does as it pleases as you and your multiple Opera house with Porche in the foreground :)

It's a very good point. You'll notice that Matt always wears glasses or goggles but in those shots, he lines up those tack welds then closes his eyes. He never looks directly at the weld. But it's a bad look, and I probably shouldn't have put those shots in as you can't easily see that he has his eyes closed. Thanks for pointing this out. Don't want to set a bad example.
