My son turned 14-years-old yesterday and wanted an electric shaver for his birthday. He said every day when he would have conversations with people they would comment on his mustache. I sent him this video to teach him how to use his new Remington tool and he found it useful! I even bought him cleanser and aftershave moisturizer. Go mom! :D thanks for doing this video!

Well done - you covered pretty much everything. I’ve gone back to electric shaving from double-edge since growing out my beard a bit and found the Remington Virtually Indestructible model to be my go-to. It’s my third electric in the last 35 years, all Remingtons, and it’s extremely comfortable, quiet, and efficient. One trick I learned from my dad years ago is to apply a small amount of talcum powder prior to shaving, especially over sensitive spots or those prone to ingrowing. It works well and keeps the foils gliding with, across, or against the direction of hair growth. Keep it up!

I used to use the Remington black man's shaver. It was a all slotted head assembly. It gave one of the smoothest shaves in town for a electric shaver. When they discontinued that model they came out with the Remington ES 1000 which was also a Black man's shaver. Only difference was they changed the body style and made it rechargeable. And ya they did away with that shaver as well. Really corked me off. Now some of you lads are saying what's he talking about Black man's shaver? I'm saying this electric razor was designed with a black man in mind as well as anyone who has curly whiskers as well as a baby face. The slotted head assembly would lift your whiskers up without burning ya face all to hello! Best of all it wouldn't give you razor bumps. So with that said I seen your video and did some research and found a compromise to my plight in shaving. Remington came out with a Remington comfort series wet tech F8 foil shaver. I bought the PF7600 model so I could dry shave or wet. The head assembly has two foils on each side with a slot in the middle. The foils do the cutting for the most part while the middle slot lifts your whiskers up for a pleasant smooth close shave. Mine looks just like this model but as I said it has the two foils and the one slot on the head assembly. It also has a trimmer that pops up on the side like this model you showed. Just thought If anyone happens to see this video and my post that is a Black man or baby face with curly hairs this razor works really well for it's price range. I picked mine up online for 34.99. Oh btw Remington sells a talc stick you can use as a pre-shave instead of using a lotion style gel as you used. It has talcum powder that you run on ya beard. Works great. Cheers mate.

I use a corn starch based baby powder. It dries the face, lubricates the skin and is a dry lube for the cutters. Do not use talc, that is a mineral and is abrasive to the cutters and foils.

@jayboyee4523 жыл бұрын
step 1 don't listen to a youngster. Step two. i wouldn't wash my face before shaving. nor would i use moisturizer before shaving either. because i always shave before i shower. Step three. I use a little powder on my face, this makes for a better smother surface, for electrical shaver. Step four. see all the pimples he has on his neck. i don't shave my neck with the electric shaver, precisely for that reason. it caused pimples, i shave my neck with a razor ALWAYS DOWN NEVER UP. i only use the electric shave on my face it leaves it nice and smooth like he's so proud to show. never on my neck. Step five always wash your screen every 3-4 times you use it to keep it from giving you small rashes. take it apart and wash it if its not a wet/dry shaver. which they are always the best.

IF YOU DO, cause' I know it happens, some electric shavers, even ones for women, can make your hair grow back with a vengeance, which makes you have to shave all the time. They'll also create stubble, or "shadowy" areas, which might clue other people in on that you're shaving your face. Some people can care less, but some people are assholes about it. If that worries you, you might need to find an alternative to electric shavers. My friend has a hormonal imbalance that makes her get more acne and facial hair than most women her age. I thought getting her one of those small, electric shavers you see at the grocery store would help. I regret my decision! She has to pluck and shave more now than she did before I bought her the thing.
