VinFirst Pioneer here. I had reservation #15136 for the VF8. Not being a blockchain user, I’m not sure how that all works, but they have been responsive to my questions. Love the “heads up” dashboard projected on the windshield. Only real worry is what the service model will look like. Hopefully they will contract with a reputable service group for maintaining the EV. Love both your channels.

@@EVexplored We’ve got a Tesla Model Y now, but got our first EV in 2018, a 2015 Model S. Had a few hours with a Mach E last year and really enjoyed that too. It’s great that so many new EV options are coming out so there can be the right fit for the everyone!

@@EVexplored Our 2nd vehicle is a 2008 Prius, when that finally dies we’ll be in the market for a cheaper, lower range EV for around town use. Maybe an old Leaf or something. Looking forward to more of your content!

Liv, so many comments on what car styles you don’t like and do like. Wondering what you think of the Taycan?

Haha I do have a lot of opinions! I think the Taycan is absolutely beautiful! We haven't got to drive one yet but we sat in a couple at the LA auto show and the EV Media Summit and the build feels phenomenal. The roof is beautiful and the amount of customization is just beyond! I find it to sit too low for my preference and I think they're a bit hard to get into but I'd still love to test drive one and see how it feels! What do you think of it Ron? - Liv

EVs are still "new" (even with used Tesla's being around since 2012). What will be very telling will be the condition and quality of used electric vehicles over the coming five, ten years - and as a buyer, how do you evaluate and check out a used EV? Not many people may even know to check residual battery capacity.

There's lots to consider and we definitely plan to be as comprehensive as possible when looking into used EV's. Even with reduced battery capacity, many used EV's still provide enough range to be suitable for city driving but it's certainly a different world to ICE vehicle shopping! - Liv
