Yes, it died spectacularly. The Pin didn't hold up to the promises and just was a barebones Android running an app. The device ran hot, rarely ever worked and was slower than a Google search.

I think that's not possible - it just powers your steps, not directs them. What I would worry about is it taking Grandma far into the wilderness, and then having the batteries die. Then you'd have to carry Grandma back.

If only politicians understood technology. If they did we'd go back to being the example of big tech around the world. The GOP doesn't believe in climate change because they don't think they can change the behaviors of 3rd world countries and continents. South America/Africa and other countries simply trying to build an economy. Most of these countries don't care about dumping trash into the ocean and lakes. I saw it in China when I live there for 3.5 years. I believe that our climate is changing.
