Jannick served me when I first visited Thomann in 2016. At that time, I bought my first electric guitar amp. He gave me great advice and helped with the purchase decision and even allowed me to play a Music Man. If Jannick ever reads this comment: Thank you for that, I will never forget this unique day!

The delay was on during the rainbow machine test which is why it was repeating, creating the shape ship landing effect.

That reminded me of when I bought you an electric violin. First thing I did: put it through the Blackstar Metal HT. And I thought I was Jimmy Page. Lol

Which pedals would you have chosen? //Andy

@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses There are so many to choose from! Someday I'll start playing electric violin and find that/those perfect pedals... But I'm leaning more towards the natural sound of the violin and some FX. The distortion really needs to be perfect to sound good with a violin.

Please, Thomann, when will the NS Design WAV5 Transparent Blue violin be available to buy from you?🥺 I really can't afford to pay $220 more on shipping + other taxes to get my dream electric violin...

The only part that sounds good is the last with all effects and the guy manipulating the fx... Nice video, but so bad sound and music experience. I don't want to buy an electric violin after this video. Please use another musician and put some music to play on!!!! You got the resources!!! It's thomman!!!!!

Bernat Sales in this video they used a cheaper $200 violin when I got my first electric ($200) it sounded trash 😂 but then I upgraded to a Yamaha YEV 104 and it sounded really good! It was $600 then the next year I upgraded to a Yamaha sv255 and it’s my favorite violin! It has two pickups one in the body and one in the bridge but it also was $2,000

Not a very useful excursion. Next time let the violinist choose the effects that can be used tastefully. A 10 or 12 band graphic equalizer would be a good start, to counteract some of the drawbacks of the piezo pickup. Other options might be a compressor, delay, reverb, chorus, not necessarily all at once. You could toy around with light phazer or flanger effects too, but I don't think they're used a lot. Lots of guitar effects sound good with a plucked or picked string, but not necessarily with a sustained bowing of a string. A demo that accentuates both the instrument and the effect pedal, in a positive way, would be a much better sales driver. Seriously, do another one, with serious intent. There is a dearth of information, and pedals, out there for electric violinists. A well done, thought out video would help immensely.
