Poor shrimp. It's almost funny how they all just got sucked up, though. Like they were fine and then all just wandered too close to the pump and that was it. Have you thought about adding any moss balls to the tank? Very nice aquarium, though! Glad you weren't tempted to color the resin. I thought when you were talking about the playability, you were joking, and then cut to you actually playing it full of water and plants and substrate! Commitment to the bit if I ever saw it! Many years ago I stumbled upon a band called Brother and Sister and their website showed odd guitars one of them had built. One of them was what I think they called the Ant Farmitar. It was an acrylic body with some kind of algae-based gel in it where ants could live and tunnel without other food or water and the gel was said to be able to retain their tunnels even through playing. This build reminds me of that.

Amazing work! About a year ago I made a very different sort of aquarium guitar, full of Gatorade and plastic fish exclusively to spite tonewood purists. I'm partial to the kitschy flavor, but the craftsmanship on yours is, as usual, in a league of its own.

this might be my favorite guitar I've ever seen on your channel. i'm so glad there aren't fish in there, you're right about that not being enough room for them. please don't stress about the shrimp, it was an honest mistake! (btw if you ever do put a snail in there, you might want to put something over the access area because they uhhh... tend to wander and are not at all smart about it lol)

I must say for a beginner aquarist you did very well, better than I did when starting haha, also with shrimp they are extremely sensitive so you’d want to make sure the water temperature is okay and the pH which I know it’s a guitar and isn’t as easy but something like just adding warmer water when doing maintenance will work :). Also for the carpeting plant (monte carlo I believe?) it needs lots of light to spread so the monte carlo needs the light more than the stems. Sick video!

Just when I think you can't possibly do anything more wild and impressive, you do it. I absolutely love your work sir. Also the aluminum tape texture on the epoxy was kinda cool it looked like ice!
