Electric Vs Gas Pressure Washers: Which is Worth the Money?

Electric pressure washers are ideal for home use since they have a strong, but still gentle, water flow. They’re great for house siding, car detailing, and cleaning decking. Gas pressure washers have much higher water pressure. They’re ideal for commercial tasks, so it’s a good choice if you have a pressure washer business.

Having majored in Energy, electric products are not more eco friendly than gas. Thing raw material to end of life and life span.

Depends on how the electricity in your country is produced. If your country uses mainly coal and petroleum products as fuel then electric power tools aren't that eco friendly. If however your country produces electricity from nuclear, renewables or even natural gas then electric tools are more eco friendly. Electric tools also offer the benefit of using electricity produced from solar panels at home.

@@kyohiromitsu4010First of all you can't use a number for all renewables since they differ in the time it takes to offset it's greenhouse gas emissions. Secondly, a typical solar panel will offset its greenhouse gas emission in less than 3 years while it's life span is around 30 years, so it takes around 10% of its life span to offset gas emissions. Other forms of renewables may take longer to offset their gas emissions but they all beat petroleum products. The reason is petroleum products are a carbon positive energy source which means they never offset their greenhouse gas emissions.

@@ronettreker Dude I have installed 22 KW solar power in my factory and its been 4 years already and some 4 panels have failed and a big expensive inverter too. If it keeps going like this itbwill take me 8 years to offset their cost.

@@kyohiromitsu4010 I work in a factory which has the entire roof covered in solar panels. I don't know the rated power but I do know they're polycrystalline panels that cover around 1800 square meters. From my knowledge they never had any issue since they installed the system over 5 years ago. In your case it might be a problem with the brand of panels/inverter or with the work done by the electricians who installed them. The fact that more and more commercial and residential buildings are installing solar panels on the roof shows that they are worth the investment.
