I have had my Kranzle for years now, and never had a single issue. None of the people I know with a Kranzle unit have had issues. These things are built like tanks. But like anything in life, it's not impossible to have a unit go faulty. Even Toyotas have recalls and lemon cars.

Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well kzbin.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.

It ran me $200, and the first one stopped working after 9 months of consistent use, I have an "interesting" way of getting it replaced for free without a warranty, and it works. So far on my 2nd one and It's beautiful. Idc wat anyone tells me, spending over 1k for a pressure washer is absolute overkill. At that point, one just wants top of the line to fulfill their ego and emotional "wants." Hecke, a $150 pressure washer with a warranty is a better deal.*

Before my higher end Kranzle unit, I had a Karcher K5 pressure washer for over a decade and it was very good, still running like new. Only issue is it had proprietary Karcher fittings, so you needed bayonet adapters to attach things like a foam cannon, and the K series usually aren't serviceable. They're meant for light duty home use, not for heavy duty commercial use, hence the lower price. We don't have the K7 in North America, but it's their highest end in Europe. Seems like a very good unit Simon.

The delay on the greenworks 2300 is a little annoying, but for once a week car wash its not a big deal, and getting higher PSI for cleaning around the house makes it the perfect washer for the average homeowner. I've had one for a month and its great. Plus it comes with and Uberflex hose, but only 20 feet, which is not a big deal for a unit on wheels.

Hi Pan! I was cruising KZbin and found someone I didn’t have to speed up 2x. I slowed it down to 1x and then found you having an in depth conversation about shampoo. It was something I never thought about. This lead to a deep dive into your videos, and others. I tried out some products and found this really relaxing. Now I enjoy maintaining my vehicles. I bought a Westinghouse pressure washer that claims to be 2100 psi and 1.76 gpm. It’s about the same size as the ryobi or craftsman so I’m doubting it reaches those numbers. Is that too powerful to wash my car? I tested it on a steel wheel and I had to get within 6 inches with a 15 degree nozzle to clean some dried brake dust and pollen.

Josh recommended upgrading the pressure hose to uberflex; looks like a nice upgrade. However, I noted that the Active VE52 uses M22-15 and I can't find a uberflex source for the 15. It might be useful to mention that in the videos; note the connection specifics.

The gist of the video was: get as close as possible to 1000psi, then as much GPM as you can afford. Larger orifice gives higher flow but lower pressure. Why no more than 1000psi, damage car I assume? What kind of damage? Higher GPM I assume just lets you work faster.

@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
Most consumer grade pressure washer manufacturers will tell you that their pressure washers are rated at 100 hours. Case in point, from James, the head of Active himself, here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXq9aK2rZdt9mNk Typically, pressure washers are built to certain specs, to respect a certain price point. Like anything in life, nothing is built to last for ever, so most pressure washers have a life cycle where they should operate within specs and also respect the warranty. If a pressure washer is rated for 100 hours of use, that doesn't mean it will automatically stop working at 100 hours. It depends on many factors like use case scenario, operation, maintenance, if you properly use it, etc. It's like a car engine. A car engine can have a warranty of 60,000 miles, but that doesn't mean the engine will die at 60,000 miles. Some people might get 500,000 miles with no issues, others might see problems after only 10,000 miles. I would recommend that you watch an interesting discussion Matt (Obsessed Garage) had with a head of Active pressure washers, and how they are built, use case scenarios, etc: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXq9aK2rZdt9mNk

Hey Pan! that was awesome, having my 2 favourite detailers join forces!! Pan, I am really struggling to decide mostly on the GW 2300 or the GW 2700…it’s mostly for washing my cars..one thing I’m worried about is the 14 amp because I have the standard 15 amp GFI to plug into..not really wanting to switch to a 20 amp right way. My Sunjoe 3000 just died last weekend, and that was a 14.5 amp I believe. The con on the 2300 for me is the delay that spits out a lot of soap out of the foam cannon before the pressure starts, lotsa waste. My biggest con on the 2700 is the continuous motor. So my 2 questions are should I get the 2300 or the 2700 and can I run it on a 15 amp. Thank you again for posting another Pantastic video!!

@PanTheOrganizer2 күн бұрын

For the active 2.0 being rated for 200 to 250hours that means it will stop working after 😅?

All pressure washers have usage ratings. It doesn’t necessarily mean they stop working after that. See it like a 60,000 miles warranty on a car’s engine. That doesn’t mean the engine stops working after that.
