The red one will go 1hr50min on a full tank of gas with mower deck engaged. !

Cub Cadet (MTD) makes a gas hydrostatic version of that electric mower. It would be a better comparison than the YardMachine 5 speed one you used in my opinion. As others said, you should include the cost of battery replacement down the road versus belts, gas and oil for that other machine. Nonetheless, I appreciate you taking the time to do this video and have a great day.

MTD Makes both those mowers and they also make a cub cadet gas and it has a reverse override switch as well. Also new your battery will be god for cutting that small lawn on a charge after that season it will only cut about 3/4 of they lawn and will have to wait to charge. season 3 you will need a new battery about 1/2 the cost of the mower .. so much for maintenance cost

The one I'm looking at has 6 batteries. To replace would be about $1,800. So, not sure how that pans out.......

What's the cost of a battery, a charger and the cost to charge it ? Tow something heavier than two small kids. A real comparison would be to run them hard all day. The gas lawnmower will be running 20 years if taking care of the battery not going to happen. Battery has it's place in hand tools nothing more.
