Absolutely awesome video. So glad to have been recommended your channel (by MSX John @MSX2Go). We met up at a games fair yesterday and he was mentioning i might enjoy your content as I also collect SG1000. Also enjoyed the pc engine games. I think there's a guy in japan porting the Soldier Blade (or Star Soldier) game to the Mark III. I can't quite remember which one is. Definitely going to check out more of your vids.👍

Welcome, John is a great guy have known him since I started on KZbin and he got me started collecting for the PC Engine. I will be producing all my games on the SG-1000 from now on.

A good procurement of games, especially the Sega console and joystick. Anything complete with manuals, flyers, etc is a big plus.

I was especially pleased with the Sega console and how good a condition and complete it was. Doesn’t even need much cleaning but I will work out a good AV mod for it as I will be using it for new game testing.

Now I see why others have called it their favourite of the Soldier series, was definitely worth the wait and patience for an affordable copy :)

Some nice pickups, that SG1000 Mark II looks in great condition. I remember the steering wheel controller for the Sega I sold them when I was working at Myer. Remember not liking it, I took one out the back in the resurve and pulled it apart to have a look. If I remember it had 2 switches on either side and just a bar hitting them so a lot of slop and nothing in the middle. I remember thinking it was nowhere near as good as the Coleco one we had in stock as well. Also, side note I received the games ok thank you. 😊

I was very pleased with the condition and completeness of the set. The wheel doesn’t come up that often and I am not surprised it is only very basic, the Coleco one is definitely the ruler of the 8-bit system wheels. Hope you enjoy the games, more titles from me soon for all four systems.

That Sega Console is a nice addition.... nice to finally get a copy of Soldier Blade. Played Heavy Unit loads at the arcade back in the day. If you can get a copy of the Mega Drive version... so much better. 👍👍👍👍 I bought my copy of the MD on release back in the day after playing so much of the game in the arcade. The PC engine version I got from a friend who went to Japan in the early 2000's It's an ok port.

I am really pleased with the condition of the SG-1000, it's really good, doesn't even need to be cleaned and works perfectly. Heavy Unit looks pretty cool so far, I just need to play it a bit and learn some of the patterns. Soldier Blade has been a long time coming, very pleased I have a copy now, will be playing that one a lot. It completes the journey from when you gifted me a loose copy of Super Star Soldier all those years ago :)

I think I saw most of these exact items at a specific Hard Off store in Chiba fairly recently... I wonder if the seller just picked them up together or if it was just a coincidence 😀

I used Buyee, and I think they came from different sellers, just got lucky with these ones on price in the end. Got the console first and most of the others about 20 days later.
