Let's look at a real circuit. Line voltage into the transformer. A full-wave bridge rectifier on the output into a voltage regulator. What is the noise fed back into the main? How much harmonics are fed back into the line? What is the power factor? What is the efficiency?

Hello sir, do you think that your other physics videos subjected around circular motion, forces, momentum and impulse, etc. are around the difficulty of IB physics sl. They seem to be, but I haven’t taken the course yet

They vary in difficulty from the simple to the more challenging and cover various levels.

is it -12 or 12

Are you referring to the source voltage or to the 12 ohm resistor. And what term in which equation do you think should be -12 instead of + 12?

You're much better off just multiplying everything by "j" instead of dividing by "j" and then having to multiply again. Much easier to keep track of the signs in this case.

How is 12÷j = -12j
@karuniyageorge9579

12/j = (12j)/(j*j) = (12j)/(-1) = -12j, since j * j = -1
