how to size GEC with parallel conductors?
@ElectricalCodeCoach7 ай бұрын
It's very easy! Just total up both conductors circular Mills found in chapter 9 table 8, and then go back and treat it like one conductor

Does a metal underground water pipe fall under Rod, Pipe and plate electrode and can be sized by a #6 or does it need to be sized by table 250.66? Real world question not a test question. Thank you.

It has to be sized based off the table. Rod, Pipe or plate is not the same as water pipe

Hey man, watched all your videos. And did the questions step by step....and im just not there? I got a 65 then a 67 then a 69 then again just today got a 68 on my journeymens test and I need a 70.....im so so mad and I just can't explain it. Idk what I'm doing wrong. I have watched so mannnnyyyy videos and learning as I go. Idk what else to do. I know motor calcs Pipe fill for most part, box fill, ect. I just dont know man, I'm to pore to pay for the practice tests for 119 or 89 dollars. The whole 24 inches or more on pipe fill gets me.........and im just lost and feel like I'm dumb and can't do it. If there's any more steps I'm missing man.......or a website that has free stuff let me know cuz I feel like a failure and Noone understands. I'm hands on smart and not book smart at all....and im giving it my all and still failing. Idk what other steps besides clarifying the more then 24 inch on pipe fill steps.......lost man. Your the only one on here that makes sense and makes it easy enough for me to study but iv done all the videos man.......and lost bad.
