I’ve really got to thank you for all the videos you’ve made on Bosch motors and Cube e-bikes bro. You helped me make the decision to go for a Cube. I found the Cube Reaction hybrid Pro 400 on sale here in Australia for only 3500 AUD (2300usd), down from 4600. I really wanted a bigger battery, but they weren’t on sale, so it would’ve been 5100 just for a 500wh battery. I’d have been insane to pass up that discount. I can buy a 500wh Powerpack for 800AUD and still be way ahead! Apparently it should be ready for pick up today! So excited to get it. Thank you bro. Really appreciate your great style of reviews.

I think they omit the bottle cage boss on Step Through bikes, because the idea of a Step Through is for easy access onto the bike. Bottles just get in the way of that.

Probably no bottle cage for the easy entry model, since that's the only place where you can attach the bicycle carrier...

My stepdad and I went in a Cube store to test one of these. As he was testing the bike, i ask the dealer is there something with a quiter motor. He answerd: Quiter?! No one ever complained about the noise. Two minutes later my stepdad came back and the first thing he said was: wow, that thing is loud, it’s embarrassing. I looked at the dealer and just said: No one… . This thing is whining the whole time. So we went to another store, where we bought my moms bike, too. The first thing the dealer said was: To many people complain about the loud CX motors. He also went with a smaller motor as the noise is unacceptable. I don't know why someone would choose these CX motors. On an eMTB it makes sense, but not on a touring bike. We ended up buying a way more expensive Flyer but they choose the normal Performance Line motor with it's 65Nm and it's almost quite compared to the CX motor. Even with 65Nm the bike feels overpowered, but quite. Manufacturers should stop putting this horrible motor in bikes that don’t need it.

People choose Bosch CX because it's powerful reliable and parts is everywhere Who care about the noise, it's not a big deal

​@@rolletharold8843 The noise is a big deal when it is mounted on bikes, that doesn't need the power. The newest Non-CX motor is 75Nm and climbs steapest trails with ease. It's just 10Nm but a huge noise difference. You find this motor in the Tourig Hybrid line. All Bosch motors are reliable, thats no argument at all. As Cube downgraded the Touring Hybrid Line parts wise, they're no option anymore.

Nice, glad to hear that you like it! I'm a big fan of mid-step design too, because it's stiff and light, but easier to approach than the full high-step.
