I remember there was an electrician sim at one point that I found really interesting, so to me this DLC was a fantastic surprise. I really like the fact you have to actually pull out the wires and fix the walls and stuff. Placing the wires is a bit finicky, but still, this was very fun to watch. I hope you play more of this. I always enjoy this game, and this was a very unexpected but very fun DLC so far. 😊

So I’m not a certified electrician but I have learned some things over the years. They will not put ANY holes in the walls IF they can help it. If a house needs to be wired they will cut from source and pull the dead wires through and use items like chains to pull new wires through. If the wire cannot be pulled through they will cap it off with a wire nut and any wire left in the wall must have access so if it is not at an outlet or switch a hole must be made if there isn’t one already to place a plate over the hole to access the wire (dead or not) as for conduits, they are mainly only used in areas such as outdoors or unfinished basements and attics. Basically anywhere the wire may be exposed to unsafe conditions for an electrical wire. I have also never heard of wires getting placed in the floors and only in ceilings to reach the light fixtures. This is for American regulations and I’m not sure if the regs differ from state to state but atleast the state im in from this is how it’s done.

thats not how it is here in south africa at all, dont know about Merica but here all our electrical wiring is in conduits, so if you need to rewire, you just use pull new wire through the conduits without breaking any concrete
