For insulation against vibration when mounting the fan you could use tyco pad, better than grommets

That crinkle tubing should be stretched out to create minimal air resistance and to stop moisture pooling - a better job would be to use rigid tube. Ideally the fan should be half way along the tube. Plus those grommets are ineffective as the screws form a direct bridge. Should be a true isolated floating fixing.

The 'stopper' on the strippers is adjustable and you're supposed to use it for making all your cables the right length. Cable buts up to it before stripping. I never use it
