Great work as always 👍👍. I was not aware the wiring for the lights and fan was that bad. Also Mrs M was never a favour if the small wall lights and was glad to see the back of them. I also know where the fan over run timer and adjusting tool lives 🤣🤣. All the holes have now been filled in and ceiling painted... we are both extremely pleased with this and all your work you have done in the house..

How many lights were originally in that bathroom ceiling? Why would you want that many lights in a bathroom? That original lighting installation is the kind of stuff I see in my dreams.

I didn't notice you fit a double pole switchfused isolator to fuse the fan down,this has been the recommendation for sometime now

On a shower room without a window, I usually go for at least 15mins overrun, especially if they can use the other switch to avoid turning the fan on during the night. Do you find 5mins is sufficient??

Which type of cable do I use mate to connect PIR motion sensor to a bathroom fan with run on timer?? Would it be a 3 core + earth cable??

try twin and earth cutters they leave a nice finish to the ends of the cable

Them manrose fans are really good 👍🏻 pretty sure they require to be fused to 3A on the switched live though?

With these jobs do you leave type ac rcds because just replacing fittings or do you type A rcd protect them now

Type A/C rcds are still recognised as adequate protection by governing bodies even though dc leakage can leave them useless.

where the cable goes through to motor I find there is leakage of moist air so i now seal with a little silicon

Yes I think they do, I never work on them because of this but most I know do knowing its asbestos.

Just been watching an advert about JCC strip lights for about 5min 😂 After a certain time i lost interest, JCC needs to make the advert for the vapour proof led fitting a bit shorter it does look like a good fitting though not like the chinese ones
