You must be the only electrician I know that carrys his volt stick on his toolbag, that baby stays on my person at all times, I find it's the most handy place to have it👍 I like the extension bar👍 I use 3.5mm blade for ceiling roses and switch and 4.0mm blade for sockets and spur, perfect for MK. accessories👍
@michaelboyes49485 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't tell everyone you use mk 💩
@ashmanelectricalservices43185 жыл бұрын
@@michaelboyes4948 I use whatever the customer wants, my preferred brands are Hager, Click Scolmore and Schneider but I've found the MK screw holes won't allow anything bigger than a 4mm blade through.

you should check this out 86 03 180 Knipex 7" Pliers Wrench it is one of the most amazing products. like an adjustable wrench, but it grips tight, and then open enough so you can advance it on the nut. also very gentle on the surface unlike a normal plumbers pliers
@michaelboyes49485 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've got the 250mm version brilliant for glanding swa

The Knipex 83 03 180 and the Knipex 83 03 250 the only water pump pliers that have parallel jaws and perfect for armoured glands

Great load out! Which hammer did you end up ordering? I'm looking for a small hammer, myself. A hammer is on my required tools list, but I use it so rarely and I hate carrying around the weight.

I use the wiha electricians hammer its perfect

@@Tools4Sparks I use Hultafors Electricians hammer, same as wiha hammer. Perfect size and weight. Would like an even lighter hammer, just for fixing cables to wall.

Hi Jordan is there anywhere we could get hold of those blue screwdrivers. I've asked hager reps here in Ireland but no luck. Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Unfortunately not, they are limited edition. Only available as a prize to competition winners!

I like the Gedore combi ratchet spanners. Most Gedore tools are available in the UK, but you may find that your tool supply company may not hold stock of the exact tool(s) that you want and have to order in for you. Alternatively the internet is your friend (until after Brexit when we may have to pay import duty).

I’m a Jehovah’s Witness and I was working as a volunteer out there on one of our building projects, building a large educational facility, it was a 2 year project and I was the electrical site foreman. All our projects around the world are mainly done by well trained volunteers. It was a great experience. You can see the building here: www.jw.org/finder?srcid=share&prefer=content&applanguage=E&locale=en&item=pub-jwb_201706_7_VIDEO&docid=1011214
