Will you have a video really going into detail on the recent Veteran wheels side by side and why would one buyer should buy one Veteran wheel over another? I think that will be helpful to visualize on video what ewheels had put out on their FAQ page about the relevance of the 3 wheels (Lynx, Patton, Sherman-S). Covering RANGE, breaking distance, acceleration ect. I have Patton and Sherman-S and buyers like myself who have both of those wheels and love the Leaperkim brand want to know more detail, and real world riding tests on video before spending 4 grand :) Thanks for the content and the balanced opinions - (all PUNS intended lol).
@ElectricUnicycles11 ай бұрын
I would love to but since I never had the S or Patton I couldn't provide a meaningful comparison along the lines that you've outlined. Personally, I wouldn't buy a Lynx while keeping the S and Patton. If anything, I would sell the Patton and get the Lynx. But really, they all fill different needs. The Patton is a highly agile trail wheel, the S is great for distance, and the Lynx is the perfect generalist wheel (if you don't need the range of the S). I will say that the Lynx has the superior suspension of all three wheels. Apparently (for $$$) you could upgrade the S to use the Lynx suspension, but you're stuck with the Patton suspension.

Man, our PEVs are capable of an entirely different level of performance with riders as lightweight as Dawn. I weigh close to 280lbs with clothes, full gear and backpack and I dont feel comfortable riding much faster than 20mph on my EX20 from fear of a cutout.
@ElectricUnicycles10 ай бұрын
You can surely ride faster on the EX20 but probably should stay under 30-mph. I personally know local bigger riders than you who ride faster. You do have to be a bit more conservative on how hard to accelerate, etc. Hopefully you can eventually upgrade to the more powerful 134+ volt wheels which will help you a lot to feel safer.

Great video, marty Dawns, a very good high-speed rider indeed, but I think she would do better if she had the Roger Chapman vcf pads on.. he's a bit like your Roger very, very passionate about his pads, and they are insane ,I've been riding them for some years now and he just can't help himself improving them and treeking them . Off Road is where they completely shine, but they are variable. So for street carving and high speed, they are also amazing So you can lock them out or have them soft? I'm sure you have seen them ? Would love to get him to send you a set to test and have your opinion!!! Regards, Tony gullick...

Does that Lynx have the stock power pads on it? Do you like them? I have some Grizzla Flow compact pads coming too, I'd just have to take off the toe section i guess. Thanks for the fun videos! Much appreciated! This is fun, Ewheels has provided tracking for the Lynx I ordered: "The current position of EVER FRONT is at China Coast reported 3 days ago by AIS. The vessel is en route to the port of Los Angeles, United States (USA), sailing at a speed of 14.2 knots and expected to arrive there on Dec 18, 22:00. The vessel EVER FRONT (IMO 9850549, MMSI 373285000) is a Container Ship built in 2020 (3 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of Panama." 😂 probably going to miss Christmas but it's close!

I wonder do EUCs go faster while seated since it is more compact and the wind go over your back? Just seems like standing up would go slower. It is almost like motorcycle racers getting super low to the motorcycle for speed, while cruiser motorcycles have windshields and the rider sit back catching the wind
@dnthmn11711 ай бұрын
Theoretically, yes, due to less wind resistance. But it is much harder to brake and make micro-adjustments while going that fast seated so it's a do with caution type of thing.

Roger must have a wheel barrow to carry his bollox in because he has bigger balls than me… that thing sounds like a tie fighter … it’s cool n all but …. If the motor cuts at that speed or theres a failure with the wheel or an imperfection in the road or another road user or a wild animal on your side of the road ,,,, you could be properly injured or a light switch off moment , … its all gotten to fast and serious for me I preferred the s18 days man .. great video but I don’t trust wheels that much , maybe it’s my self preservation gene kicking in now I’m a certain age man … I don’t know … I do like this new collaboration with the crew you got now. Dawn is awesome as is everyone there, it just seems to me not if but when something serious happens , I hope I am wrong , at the risk of you reading this and thinking “what are you my dad or something?” I think I prefer the slower rides.
