Yup, UV-C is so nasty you could almost fry a steak with it. And tungsten lamps are also a bad idea because X-Rays at high voltages. Although these plasma flame circuits generally don't put out the several hundres of kV that a normal tesla coil puts out(or even 1-2MV for the really big coils), it's still enough to generate X-Rays in many instances.

You can use iridium spark plug . Just cut off the threaded part and remove the high voltage internal resistor .The central electrode tip of Denso Iridium TT is only 0.4 mm in diameter . And probably this tip will last forever.

Dear Stanislav, You have nice videos, and I like to ask you why you see the connection between secondary coil wire length and ¼ lamda. I checked it and in my case it was 5260 mm this is near the ¼ wave length, the question is if this is coincidently? Because the impedance of the coil is 0.08mH and I made a coil (D=25 mm) with 118 windings of~ 0.8 diameter wire for to have the same inductance, and is working. 0.08mH + virtual 1.4pF = 15MHz. Please advice
