А не проще делать сразу две детали - основную и заглушку в виде шайбы или другой формы что бы вклеить на дихлорэтан после печать и не следить за процессом?
@grain83146 күн бұрын

Here you can find details of what to add to the .gcode file so that the pause occurs automatically in the place you need - www.instructables.com/CAPTIVE-NUTS-AND-MORE-IN-3D-PRINTING/
@enrikeplays95007 күн бұрын
Tip: When you are slicing, you can pause the printing, move the nose to a desired point (out of the piece to avoid those blobs), and wait for the user to continue printing through the screen of the printer. This way, you don't need to babysitting the printer. When you see that the printer stopped, you insert the nut, remove the leaked filament, and tell continuing printing, so it will heat the extruder once again and restart the printing from where it stopped.
@grain83147 күн бұрын
Yes, I understand that here you need to add some code to the .gcode file so that the pause occurs on its own at the right moment. You can probably find it here - www.instructables.com/CAPTIVE-NUTS-AND-MORE-IN-3D-PRINTING/
@enrikeplays95005 күн бұрын
@@grain8314 Some slicers make it even easier, like the Post Processing Plugin from Ultimaker Cura (the one I most use), where you can simply define the height, and fine tune the layer thickness at will without worrying about the number of the layer the pause must happen. I invite people to check if there is a similar Plugin or function in their slicers. I hope this helps.😊

You showed us how to drill a hole in aluminum but you said you were going to show us a drove it sharp enough for metal
@grain83148 күн бұрын
Isn't aluminum a metal? Do you think you can drill through thick steel on an 80 Watt machine (2:22)? At that time I simply did not have a normal drilling machine. An indicator of correct sharpening is the chips from drilling. And aluminum (or rather duralumin) demonstrates this best. Here I sharpened and drilled steel (I bought a 700 Watt machine) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJ21aHl9r7-spM0 Moreover, the steel is quite hard, in my opinion, surface hardened (note the sound and difficulty at the end of drilling), so unfortunately the chips are not intact. The same chips on this steel are produced by a drill with production sharpening (the one at 2:47 in the second video). I didn't have any other steel to demonstrate. Therefore, after that I showed the shavings on plexiglass.

Ok, on a larger scale, this seems like a great idea to utilize with a flywheel type "battery". Your power comes (solar, wind, etc.) in, powers up the flywheel, then, when you need it, your flywheel pushes power back through the wire. Ramp up the size, place in a vacuum chamber and voila!! Flywheel battery!! This is great!!

Wow this is the most straight forward direct visual explanation of the basics of that type of woodstove/heater. I've been wanting to build my own new replacement for the old crappy 1970s funnel fireplace my dad built in when I was a kid, its terribly inefficient. Its cool looking but wastes so much heat. I've just really been interested in these when I had them featured in a magazine I was getting back several years ago.

How long do reed switches last in such a motor ?
@grain831415 күн бұрын
I haven't tested this for long periods of time, but definitely the lower the current and voltage used, the longer the reed switches will last. Therefore, if you need long-term operation of reed switches, then use them by controlling low currents to control transistor switches, as I did. Diagram at 4:55
@grain831415 күн бұрын
Another tip: get the rotor well balanced, then you can get rid of vibrations as much as possible and get a high RPM. 1. Match the magnets to be as equal in weight as possible. 2. Do the balancing something like this - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGTJh5qZq9KYrpYsi=kNPRU7gCaZ0JEd7E&t=365

what material you used for the connecting rod and the piston? i need it please..
@grain831419 күн бұрын
I made pistons from the plunger of the same syringes. I cut them and glued pieces of thermoelastic connecting rods inside. For better sliding of the pistons, it is worth covering them with pencil graphite.

The plastic bushings for the grinder wheels are junk. Metal ones are available, and are far more accurate. I do dress the sides of the wheels to true them up as well. Any stamped washer is also junk, but finding machined washers is not easy. You can also buy CBN wheels which come spin and bubble balanced, and last far more longer than standard wheels. They are not made for grinding carbon steels though, only hardened metals.
