Our dog had (just recently passed) had a voice activated doggy-door. She'd go to the door and bark and that was her saying "You better let me out or I'm gonna pee on something!" Worked flawlessly!

Great vid. I use a high tech pet door. Ac power with battery back up. Chip in the collar. The door is rated for hurricane force wind and rain. 4+ years still going strong.i call it my star trek door.. However mine is for wall installation. Not for door. What made my choose this door is because it's the biggest auto door I've seen. 100+ golden retriever.

Hi Doc, great video. Just found you two months ago. My front lawn is struggling. Factors-Bermuda lawn, semi-severe slope, best I can tell top soil was mostly removed during original construction. I have two 3 foot wide “strips” across the front that go dormant during drought conditions. My best guess is water retention problems from construction (debris/lack of top soil.). Will it do any good to ad humichar and or other soil amendments during drought conditions? Or what do you suggest? Thanks

Hi Doc! Great video! Can I ask you please, where did the collar sensor get tucked into the packaging? I just picked up one second hand but brand new still, the plastic is still sealed around the door, but I cannot see a sensor anywhere, and wondered if they ship it inside the battery compartment? 🤔
