Hes able to make to low end sound so big yet the rest of the mix sounds so alive. Also he can mould kick and bass really well.

One of my favourites you have done. Big up Slices! More Tech Talks for 2015 ;-)

After digging deep in the archives these past two weeks to bring you lost gems from DJ KOZE and BRITISH MURDER BOYS in our Slices Classics series on Electronic Beats TV, we're back for a last holiday installment with ROBERT BABICZ, whom many of you will also know as ROB ACID. This Tech Talk was filmed for issue 3-07 of Slices and has inspired a lot of feedback. Happily for all of us, the mastering advice that our audience found so good back then rings equally true today. Enjoy! kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGS3fqqel9h5qq8

I really appreciate the perspectives of the artists on EB.TV Tech Talk. Even though I know my way around a techno mix, everybody does things a bit differently and they all have merit. As for Babicz, it's impressive that even on KZbin his stuff sounds so airy, rich and punchy.

Analog tape recorders just soud better in low frequencies..its like gain low mass.....i think its cause it has lower channel separation db rates...so it sounds close to mono signal...witch gain bass a lot...

Babicz is an excellent mastering guy and a producer as well, but man he is so pretentious in this video. Probably equally as pretentious in Real life.
