I've watched a few reviews on this unit. Also known as "Bibene" and FF Power which picked up the Bibene name. I was comparing this one to the "Bluetti", which has the true brand name but a little different configuration which I did like too. But the Bluetti unit display was disappointing as to data it showed when in use. This unit has it all, but a lesser known brand. Also a super good price if you look around. All reviewers pretty much gave it top notch status for an off brand, especially for those of us searching for the LiFePO4 internals. I really like the way you were paced, & methodical with each function, outlet, and switch. Testing equipment and real world loads were great. And of course, break down and a look inside. I had already made a purchase of this (the FF Power name) just prior to your review, but it totally backed up the other reviews and I feel super confident this power station will meet my needs and be pretty good quality. I'm also getting a 100W solar panel with it to augment my 12V vehicle charging. I look forward to checking out your faster charging method. Thanks for an awesome in depth review !

Thanks for the review. There's not that many LiFePO4 portable battery systems out there. It's impossible for me to find a pre-built portable battery station the way I'd like one. I'm glad you opened it up and showed how easy that is. I'd love to put a dual panel mount Anderson PowerPole port with internal 20 or 25 amp inline ATO fuse with the connection point for the wiring at the BMS. That would give me access to charge with my own charger at a higher rate..........and give me access to the raw unregulated LiFePO4 voltage. Just some thoughts.

Hi, great review, thank you for taking the time. Few questions. Does this unit have high and Low voltage disconnect. Does it have high temperature and low temperature sensing/ disconnect. Have you any idea of the parasitic draw on the AC inverter. If the AC inverter shuts down due to lower charge, will it automatically turn on after the battery recharge reaches a certain level. Does it have pass through charging, ie when charging from a wall outlet or solar can it be used at the same time. You mentioned that it has 2500 cycles, does it drop to a certain percentage for example 80% after the 2500 cycles. Could you clarify what you meant by 2500 cycles. Did you ever do the tear down of this unit, battery. Couldn't find that video. Thank you.

I recently killed a different 240Wh lifepo powerstation by attaching it 5 mins to a flat TV with active power factor correction (APFC) drawing just 1/3 of max power. All other loads were fine. So these APFC can be an issue and deserve testing. Uniniterrupted Power Supply units do a better job usually certifying APFC load compatibility. However watching the AC board having an electronic design background I would expect this box to do a better job. It looks quite a bit like you measure the 12V output at the empty station with the charger plugged in? You verified the battery charged from solarpannels but not necessarily that it happened at the Maximum Power Point voltage. I appreciate your thorough testing. How did the manufacturer comment on your 50/60 Hz finding? This could teach about support Quality.

I'm really glad manufacturers are starting to put diffused lantern style lights on their products. They are so much more usefull. I have a Golabs R300 and that difused light bar has been a godsend for lighting up an area around camp or in a tent. The little dinky flashlight style while still useful, pales in comparison for practicality. Are you sure it's regulated or just the LiFePo4 batteries themselves? There is information on the Internet about fully charged 4S voltage over 13V (e.g., 13.4 V) without a load, so 13V+ voltage measured for the large 12V socket does not imply regulation. Dropping output voltage while the battery (stack/pack) is being discharged, does not indicate regulation.
@electronicsNmore3 жыл бұрын
The unit is regulated. I tested with and without a load fully charged and almost totally discharged, there was a VERY narrow voltage range. Measuring as shown in the video DOES imply regulation, otherwise the no-load voltage output would would be well under 12V when the unit is 90% discharged.

@@electronicsNmore , I have this product coming soon and I will be looking into that. I read comments on another web site about no regulation for the 10A output. That said, I'm looking for exactly this, with one added feature, to be able to dump charge into cheaper stand alone batteries, SLA, LiFePO4 that I already have. A control centre, to regulate incoming charge from solar, mains, and a generator. My equipment never works as stated / rated. Ever.

Amazon was selling these for ~$350 after $90 off coupon a few weeks ago, now the Bibene is sold out and the Oukitel is back up to ~$450.👎 These units are not worth more than $400. If I'm going to spend that much I'd look more towards a tried and true Bluetti EB55 or EB70 for just a bit more $. Wish they would put these back on sale though.

Glad I saw this before I bought a AC50s. It's still a hard decision though. This one has LifePo4, a bigger inverter, and more capacity. But the Bluetti is $100 cheaper, with faster charging and an established brand. It's probably worth the extra money, but the slow charging is a real drag.

I'd consider buying one if not for that horrendous charge time due to the charge rate. 100W charging just isn't worth it when you consider a number of models support fast charging or charging simultaneously from multiple sources which cuts time down significantly. Why can't these companies take the LiFePO4 battery from here, the fast charging of the EF Delta, and the inverter from the Goal Zero and make one amazing system? Every single one has glaring shortcomings.

Absolutely great design, but I feel the diffuser could be a cap design so you could remove it and expose the full directed light, that way you could use the LEDs more like a torch as you are carrying it at dark if god forbid you needed to. Definitely a good way to take it from great to amazing. Equally maybe an LED strip on the top of the casing for lighting up the way, perfect for a tent compared to the side light.
