Hey Sorin, I was walking along a Thai beach. A Thai lady asked me if I want short time fun. I said ok and paid £30. She then pulled out a tazer and shorted me to the ground. What a shock! Thanks for video.

Nothing wrong with that repair. Most couldn't micro solder something that small but are fast to criticize. Keep up the amazing repairs and keep teaching. Really great stuff.

Hi Sorin, At the minute 35:19 (circa) you are starting to remove what you call "glue" (that black goo all around components). The question is: - how you will remove it? - Can't you solder the new chip directly on top of that? - I've seen you use the solder tip like a scrub.. is it normal soldering temp or it is lower, not to damage the tracks? - that glue cannot be removed using some chemical? Please, be so kind, let me know. ciao Mario

Guys, i can't tell you enough how important what I'm about to say it. Seriously. WATER itself, is NOT a threat to your system. If you open it up, and see water or liquid in places... GREAT!!! NO DAMAGE. So what you want to do, instead of hair drying, is wiping it up with those ear bud sticks, wipe the water away. Why? because it's not the WET part of the water that breaks your electronics, it's the Mineral content of the water when it DRYS. Very important. When it drys, it deposites green materials like iron etc, which erodes things. So get it while it's WET and clean it with cotton, DONT dry it. because you're still drying it into the board. Where is the mineral content? on the board. CLEAN it first.

My friend iPhone 6 has a totally drained battery. I measure a bit over 500k ohms on the board battery connector from positive to ground. Does this sound like a short somewhere in the board that pulled the battery to 0 volts? Is there a way to give the battery some charge without a power supply? Thanks you Sorin

Sorin, you wait for so long time to have the phone finally up&running... meanwhile there was *NO SIGN* on the display that it was taking time to get up... HOW do you know it was getting up? and need to wait a LONG TIME to have it finally on? Yes, you can say: "...it's my experience.." but how you faced it the very first time it happened to you??? I know you usually don't give answers here... but I'm STRUGGLING in this dilemma... It happened so many times to me to have a blank screen phopne, right after finding a broken chip, but NEVER imagined it *could* turn on after so much time!!! Please answer me, if it is possible to you. thanks!
